Ev nova like games8/4/2023 ![]() This file will be added to the computers registry and it can not be copied or installed on another machine. This, like i stated above, can be re-installed up to 3 times with that one license file. Space rangers 2 can be downloaded and burned to a DVD for safe keeping. They have a GREAT customer support service. Direct2drive also has customer support always availible. Space Rangers 2 will be made for digital distribution through Direct2drive.They will have copyright protection that allows the user to re-install the game up to 3 times (per license). I've always wanted to try Space Rangers 2. The fun part about EV Nova is you can download a demo and start along one of the many storylines and it will keep going up till a midpoint, where it will ask you for a license code to go further. :DĪs a whole, if you're remotely a fan of the freelancer type games - go for it. Also, the economy isn't "really" dynamic, so after a while you know the trade routes that you can basically mint money with (Earth to Europa - same star system) and buy a new ship with - but that's a killjoy way of playing. The downside is that you manipulate your ship with a keyboard - ie, its real time combat, but you can slow down the speed if your reaction time is iffy. ![]() I've gotten at least a 100 hours out of that game, and likely more. The in game storylines are fairly well written and developed, and when you get done with all 6, you can go back and download the legions of new storylines written for the game by its rabid (mac based) fanbase - "plug-in"s, as they call them. Graphically, its dated to say the least, but the gameplay is just pure fun. I am thinking along the lines of Monut And Blades villegs, where you can build them up if you take them over.EV Nova is absolute crack. You could even choise to have a fee for ships landing, or tax the trade and so on. This planet would then creat ships to defend it self, and trade with the other factions. Thats cool to know, but I am thinking more along the lines of being able to take over, or start colanys, so you can astablish shipyards and trade posts and so on on a planet your self. ![]() It should then give you a message saying they will pay you X amount of credits a day if you leave them alone. If you successfully destroy the fleet WITHOUT jumping to other systems or landing, then hit Shift+T again and click Demand Tribute again. If your combat ranking is high enough then it should send out it's defense fleet to attack and destroy you. Shift+T to talk to the planet, and hit Demand Tribute. Next fly into space to the system/planet you want to take over. Just have a pretty strong fleet, and a pretty solid combat ranking. What is your plan for game macanics? I see you can get feets and so on, but would there be a way to take over systems, or claim ones that are not owned by the tow factions? What is your plan for game macanics? I see you can get feets and so on, but would there be a way to take over systems, or claim ones that are not owned by the tow factions? I understand that its Open Source, but I am not someone who dabbles in codeing, and would have no idea where to start with implemniting it on my own. lol I am guessing though, that it is, in some part, based of the EV games, becuse it is so simmiler. The UI is better, but the macantics, planets, it all screems EV Nova. Holy ♥♥♥♥, it is an EXACT clone of EV Nova. and on Steam?' I go find it, and dwonload it it. I got to this one, and think 'This looks a LOT like EV Nova.' reads more 'Oh, its free. And was like, 'Thats the game!' I prosed to close the tabs for the other games I had opened, looking them over to see if they would be interesting. Few mints later, I read in the forum the name EV Nova. This one looked a LOT like the game I was looking for, so I hit the link. ![]() This lead me to a forum, full of games that where top-down and 2D. Yesterday, I went looking for it, having forgotten the name of the game, I put in to the serch '2D top down Space Sim'. A 2D, top down game, that lets you rade, fight and explore. So, YEARS and YEARS ago, I came across a game called EV Nova. ![]()
